The first offline meeting of the new WHO Civil Society Task Force on TB took place in Geneva from 13 to 15 May 2024.
Yuliia Kalancha as one of the 12 members of the group, represents CSOs and communities of the WHO Europe region.
Over the course of the 3-day work, the group held several kick-off meetings, as well as an open meeting of the WHO and the Civil Society Task Force on TB on the urgent actions needed for implementation of the Political Declaration on TB 2023 through the lens of civil society and empowerment communities. Yulia Kalancha had the honor of moderating this unique event, which was attended by more than 500 representatives of CSOs and communities, as well as other stakeholders.
