NGS is opening a new era in TB diagnostics: this technology is already widely used in global practice and allows for the rapid and accurate detection of drug resistance. For experts and activists working in the EECA region, understanding the potential of NGS is especially important—it helps navigate modern diagnostic approaches and enables meaningful engagement with national programs and international partners.
