The TB Europe Coalition (TBEC) once again actively participated in the annual UNION World Conference on Lung Health, which this year took place in Copenhagen, Denmark, from 18 to 21 November.
Board members and Secretariat staff of TBEC presented the latest developments and shared best practices in advocacy on key TB issues. Over the course of four intensive days, they acted as moderators and speakers in various sessions, both on the main conference stage and at the Community Connect platform.
In particular, they addressed topics such as advocacy for access to TB medicines in European countries, science publications led by civil society and community organizations, as well as gender-related issues in the provision of TB services and professional medical education. More details about some of the presentations and sessions can be found in our publications:
The TB Europe Coalition expresses its gratitude to the organizers, partners, and donors for providing this unique opportunity to discuss the most pressing TB issues with colleagues from around the world and to share experiences. We were delighted to attend engaging sessions, gain new and useful information, present the coalition’s work, meet friends and partners, and expand our professional network.
