On 12 February, the first quarterly TBEC Board meeting of the year took place. As customary, representatives of the Secretariat presented a management update as of the beginning of 2026 and outlined the key work plans for the upcoming period.
Board members held a detailed discussion on international trends in public health and advocacy relevant to TBEC’s work, as well as potential resource mobilization opportunities in this context.
In addition, participants discussed TBEC’s strategic vision and positioning for World TB Day and approved the organisation’s updated brand book. Particular attention was given to planning the annual feedback process with coalition members through an online survey scheduled for March-April 2026.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Board members agreed on the schedule of quarterly Board meetings for the remainder of the year, as well as two biannual meetings of the TBEC Oversight Advisory Committee.
