The first TBEC Board meeting of the year was held online on February 11, 2025.
During the meeting, Board members reviewed the current management and financial reports, as well as potential funding opportunities for the coalition’s activities. A key topic of discussion was the suspension of programs and the reduction of support from the United States, along with its impact on NGOs and communities in the region. To strengthen civil society's capacity in securing alternative funding, it was decided to organize a special webinar in the near future. During this session, the TBEC Secretariat and Board members will share available information on potential sources of technical assistance and donors supporting TB elimination efforts.
