The Consolidated Report on the implementation of the standardized package of support services provided at the community level to improve TB treatment outcomes and prevention in 6 EECA countries, developed at the end of 2024, has been published.
While many EECA countries have already taken active steps to integrate the standardized package into their national TB programs, this task remains complex as it requires a high level of cooperation between governmental and non-governmental structures, the introduction of new financing mechanisms, and the development of a new monitoring and evaluation system.
To assess the current progress and collect good practices for implementing the standardized package, TBEC initiated an analysis of its implementation in Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, and Ukraine, using community-led monitoring (CLM) tools.
The report includes the rationale for the analysis, a description of the methodology, observations, and recommendations, which were discussed at the country level with key stakeholders, including the heads of National TB Programs.
