TBEC Chair of the Board Paul Sommerfeld became a member of the Pandemic Fund Civil Society North Task Force elected for the next 2 years.
The Pandemic Fund is a collaborative partnership among donor countries, co-investor countries (potential implementing country governments), foundations and civil society organizations (CSOs). It is hosted by the World Bank with WHO as technical lead.
The Pandemic Fund provides a dedicated stream of additional, long-term financing to strengthen critical pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response capabilities in low- and middle-income countries through investments and technical support at the national, regional, and global levels.
