On June 15, 2009, long before Zoom was invented, an online meeting of an informal group of 12 experts from Western European countries was held. They discussed the need for advocacy in the field of TB, which marked the foundation of the TB Europe Coalition. In the anniversary video, people who were at the forefront of establishing the Coalition — Paul Sommerfeld, Beatrijs Stikkers, Fanny Voitzwinkler, Wim Vandevelde, and Yulia Chorna — share the way the Coalition developed further.
