On September 10, 2024, regional partners discussed next steps to support communities in Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan for 2024-2026 as part of the implementation of Component 2 of the Global Fund's Strategic Initiative.
During the information session, representatives of communities and civil society from Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as key stakeholders, learned more about the goals and approaches of the Strategic Initiative and its Component 2, got acquainted with a brief overview of the outcomes and lessons learned of the implementation of the previous phase, as well as with priorities and new partners of the current phase.
In addition, the participants discussed the activities planned for the next three years and the expected results of their implementation. Particular attention was paid to the consideration of the involvement of CSOs’ and communities’ representatives in the upcoming process and discussion of the benefits of such involvement.
As a reminder, TBEC is a technical provider within the framework of this project and provides support to civil sector organizations in 3 EECA countries: Ukraine, Moldova, and Azerbaijan.
