On July 29, the third TBEC Board meeting of the year took place.
Board members and representatives of the Secretariat discussed the challenges and opportunities arising from the current political, social, and financial situation in the WHO European Region, as well as the shrinking space for civil society advocacy within the EU.
In addition, participants shared updates on future participation in the UNION International Conference, including discussions on TBEC sessions that have been endorsed by the conference organizers.
The Secretariat staff also presented the organization’s 2024 financial report for Board approval, along with updated information on TBEC’s operational outlook.
