Partners of the Community Engagement Strategic Initiative (CE SI) discussed current progress and joint plans at an international meeting in Kenya

From October 30 to November 1, 2025, the international Community Engagement Strategic Initiative (CE SI) Partners Meeting took place in Nairobi, Kenya.

The meeting focused on reviewing CE SI progress and aligning priorities for the remaining period, as well as sharing experiences and strengthening collaboration among initiative partners. Special attention was given to initiating preparations for meaningful community engagement in the 8th Grant Cycle (GC8).

The TB Europe Coalition was represented at the meeting by Program Manager Vlada Rabinova, who presented, during the poster session, the experience of TBEC and country partners in strengthening organizational and advocacy structures, establishing platforms for community–government interaction, and involving communities in the development of national guidelines, with a focus on sustainability and transition to domestic financing.

It is worth noting that TBEC serves as a technical provider under CE SI Component 2, supporting civil society organizations and communities in three EECA countries: Ukraine, Moldova, and Azerbaijan.
