On March 3, 2025, the webinar "Adapting to Change: Strategies for Alternative TB Funding" took place, gathering over 100 representatives from civil society organizations, affected communities, and other stakeholders.
During the webinar, participants learned about potential strategies for alternative funding and received practical recommendations on identifying new donors. The event featured the following presentations:
- CSO Resilience Kit — Vlada Rabinova, TBEC Program Manager.
- Partnerships with National & Local Authorities: Successful country examples of expanding funding sources — Cristina Celan, TBEC Board Member, Program Coordinator, Center for Health Policies and Studies (PAS Center).
- Pharmaceutical sector & private businesses: Potential for collaboration to sustain TB response efforts — Denis Godlevskiy, TBEC Board Member, Regional Coordinator, ITPC EECA.
- Experience of European Countries: Opportunities for securing additional funding — Stefan Radut, TBEC Vice-Chair, Director, ASPTMR (Romania); Mona Drage, TBEC Board Member, Director, International Tuberculosis Foundation (LHLI) (Norway).
