On 28 April 2026, the first meeting of this year of the Members of the TBEC Oversight Advisory Committee took place, joined by the Chair of the Board and the Executive Director of the Coalition.
Participants were presented with information on TBEC’s current activities and overall status. Following this, Members of the TBEC Oversight Advisory Committee discussed the possible role and contribution of the Coalition, as a regional civil society network, within the evolving public health architecture.
In addition, participants reviewed the implementation of key provisions of the TBEC strategy and their impact on TB response in the region, as well as discussed current opportunities to strengthen funding for TBEC activities. Members of the TBEC Oversight Advisory Committee discussed current issues related to the Coalition’s work.
The next meeting of the Members of the TBEC Oversight Advisory Committee is scheduled for October this year.
