Joint experience of TBEC, WHO Regional Office for Europe and partner organizations in conducting baseline assessments in accordance with Annex 2 “Engagement of civil society and affected communities in the 4 components of multisectoral accountability to end TB at country level” of the MAF-TB Checklist was included in the Compendium of best practices “Adaptation and implementation of WHO’s multisectoral accountability framework to end TB (MAF-TB)”
The outcomes of our work on MAF-TB assessments in Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Ukraine are described in the WHO European Region section.
We are grateful to our colleagues from the WHO Regional Office for Europe and 5 countries of the region for their leadership and fruitful cooperation in conducting the assessment and continuing to actively promote the implementation of the Multisectoral Accountability Framework to end TB!
