PUT YOUR MASK ON FIRST: Practical Tools for the Sustainability of CSOs and Communities Amidst Funding Cuts
DONOR MAPPING
In response to the global decline in funding for
TB-focused civil society organizations and communities, the TB Europe
Coalition urges CSOs to prioritize
organizational resilience.
Ensuring sustainability alongside ongoing service provision is crucial for continuing the fight against TB and supporting affected communities.
"Put your mask on first before assisting others" — this essential safety principle applies to today’s challenges, emphasizing the need for CSOs to secure their stability before helping others.
As part of the Stop TB
Partnership’s World TB Day campaign — “Yes! We Can End TB: Commit, Invest,
Deliver” — TBEC is actively sharing practical
tools to strengthen CSOs.
By empowering each coalition member, we reinforce collective capacity and ensure continued progress in end TB.
Today, we introduce the Donor Mapping Tool, which you can access and use in your work:

For several years, TBEC has been actively working on donor mapping. Given the growing financial crisis in our sector, we are now making this resource available to all interested CSOs and communities.
The updated tool contains information on over 40 global, regional, and national donors, including UN structures, governments, embassies, and private sector entities that provide funding for TB-related projects.
Each donor is documented with the following structured information:
· Donor type
- Donor name
- Region of operation
- Who can apply(NGOs, government entities, international organizations, etc.)
- Priority areas for funding
- Website
While working with this tool we recommend regularly tracking updates on donors relevant to your organization to ensure you don’t miss key opportunities.
TBEC is pleased to share its expertise and resources to strengthen the capacity and fundraising efforts of CSOs and communities! Yes! We Can End TB: Commit, Invest, Act!
