Communities and stakeholders in Ukraine discuss the findings and recommendations of the MAF-TB baseline assessment during a broad national consultation

Ukraine recently hosted a broad consultation with representatives of communities and other key stakeholders to present the preliminary findings and recommendations of the MAF-TB baseline assessment.

The presentation was held online through the Stop TB Partnership Ukraine platform on June 18 and brought together more than 50 participants. Our country partners from TBpeopleUkraine presented the assessment findings across three areas: the engagement of relevant sectors and government bodies in the TB response, the involvement of communities and civil society in TB-related activities, and the implementation of WHO TB guidelines and recommendations in the country.

In the coming weeks, the baseline assessment recommendations will be further refined to incorporate feedback received during the consultation, ensuring that the perspectives of all key stakeholders are comprehensively reflected in the final document.

We would like to thank our partners in Ukraine for their active efforts to strengthen the multisectoral TB response, including through the implementation of the Multisectoral Accountability Framework for TB (MAF-TB), supported by the CombatDRTB project with funding from Unitaid.
